If a pad is not recognized

If your pads are not recognized even when you connect the DH-10 to which they are already paired, follow the steps below.

  1. Select [MENU] Ó “SYSTEM”.
  2. Use the cursor [à] [á] [ã] [â] buttons to select “PAD/TRIG IN” and press the [ENTER] button.
  3. The PAD / TRIG IN screen appears.
  4. Press the [F6] (DrumLink) button and then press the [F1] (HUB) button.
  5. The DrumLink - HUB screen appears.
  6. Press the [F6] (DrumLink) button to turn DrumLink off.
  7. Press the [F6] (DrumLink) button again to turn DrumLink on.
  8. If the pads are still not recognized after you do this, disconnect the SPD-SX PRO from the DH-10 and try connecting them again.

Checking the remaining battery power

You can check the remaining battery power for each pad from the Drumlink - TRIGGER BASIC tab, the DrumLink - TRIGGER CURVE tab, and the DrumLink - TRIGGER OPTIONS/ADVANCED tab.

When you strike a pad, the built-in LED on the WT-10 lights up.

If the pad LED does not light up even after you strike the pad, replace the batteries.

NOTE

  1. Use AA-size alkaline batteries.
  2. The fluid in the batteries may leak if the remaining battery level gets too low. Replace the batteries as soon as possible.
  3. Remove the batteries from the pads when you are not using the pads for an extended period of time.

Unpairing the SPD-SX PRO and the pads (unpairing)

Here’s how to unpair the SPD-SX PRO from the pads.

  1. Select [MENU] Ó “SYSTEM”.
  2. Use the cursor [à] [á] [ã] [â] buttons to select “PAD/TRIG IN” and press the [ENTER] button.
  3. The PAD / TRIG IN screen appears.
  4. Press the [F6] (DrumLink) button.
  5. The DrumLink screen appears.
  6. Press one of the [F2] (BASIC)–[F4] (OPT/ADV) buttons.
  7. Press the [F5] (TOOLS) button to display the TOOLS window.
  8. Strike to select the pad that you want to unpair.
  9. You can also select a pad by pressing the cursor [ã] and [â] buttons while holding down the [ENTER] button.
  10. Use the cursor [à] [á] [ã] [â] buttons to select “UN-PAIR”, and press the [ENTER] button.
  11. Use the cursor [à] [á] [ã] [â] buttons to select “OK”, and press the [ENTER] button.
  12. After the message appears, strike the selected pad to unpair it.

MEMO

When the cursor is on a paired pad in the DrumLink - HUB screen, you can also unpair the pad by pressing [F6] (UNPAIR) while holding down the [SHIFT] button.

Updating the firmware

To update the firmware for the DH-10 or the WT-10, connect the DH-10 to your computer and use the DWe Control application.
