Wave Bank

Selects the category for waves to select.

ALL: Both PRELOAD and USER categories

PRELOAD: Waves that come preinstalled with this unit

USER: Waves for the user’s import region

Wave

0–20000

Selects a sound from a maximum of 20,000 waves.

When “0” (OFF) is selected, no wave is assigned.

  • The WAVE SELECT window is shown when you press the [ENTER] button while a WAVE name is selected by the cursor.

Mode

PITCH, TIME STRETCH

PITCH: Adjusts the pitch.

TIME STRETCH: Changes the playback speed of the wave without altering the pitch.

Volume

-INF–+6.0 dB

Adjusts the volume.

This can also be set using the PAD EDIT KNOB.

Pitch Coarse (when Mode is “PITCH”)

-12–+12

Adjusts the pitch (in semitones).

This can also be set using the PAD EDIT KNOB.

NOTE

When you adjust the pitch, the wave’s playback speed changes.

Pitch Fine (when Mode is “PITCH”)

-50–+50

Adjusts the pitch (in cents).

Tempo Sync (when Mode is “TIME STRETCH”)

OFF, ON

Automatically sets the wave tempo to the kit tempo.

NOTE

Tempo sync does not work correctly in the following cases.

  • When Kit Tempo is more than 1.5 times the value of “Wave Tempo”
  • When Kit Tempo is less than 0.5 times the value of “Wave Tempo”

Speed (when Mode is “TIME STRETCH”)

50%–150% (when Tempo Sync is “OFF”)

(SYNC) (when Tempo Sync is “ON”)

Adjusts the playback speed of the wave.

Pan

Adjusts the pan (left-right balance).
