Configuring the mic settings on this unit
- If the mute function is not assigned to the MUTE/ASSIGN [MIC] button, you can’t configure the mic settings from the controls on this unit.
- Long-press the MUTE/ASSIGN [MIC] button.
- The channel indicator blinks yellow/red alternately, and the unit enters mic setup mode.
- Press the dial while holding the MUTE/ASSIGN [MIC] button to toggle the MUTE/ASSIGN indicator that lights up.
- Each press of the dial switches to a different MUTE/ASSIGN indicator, and the mic settings can be changed according to the MUTE/ASSIGN indicator that’s lit.
- Turn the dial while long-pressing the MUTE/ASSIGN [MIC] button to edit the settings.
MUTE/ASSIGN indicators
Explanation
MIC
Adjusts the mic input gain (sensitivity).

CHAT
Selects the type of mic you’re using.
The type of mic to use must be set in order to input audio from a mic.
Turn counterclockwise (the left half of the level meter lights up)
Dynamic mic (when phantom power is off)
Condenser mic (when phantom power is on)
Clockwise (the right half of the level meter lights up)

GAME
Switches the phantom power supply (+48 V) to the MIC jack on/off.
Turn counterclockwise (the left half of the level meter lights up)
Switches phantom power off. The 48V indicator goes dark.
Clockwise (the right half of the level meter lights up)
Switches phantom power on. Phantom power is provided when the 48V indicator changes from blinking to remaining lit.
When connecting a dynamic mic or a condenser mic that operates on battery power, make sure to turn phantom power off. These types of mics may malfunction when supplied with phantom power.

- When you have finished editing the settings, take your finger off the MUTE/ASSIGN [MIC] button to exit mic settings mode.
