Using the limiter to limit the volume of a game
You can use the limiter to keep the volume down, which helps prevent damage to your ears from sudden loud sounds.
For example, you can prevent gunshots from being louder than necessary in a first-person shooter game.
- On the menu screen, click the “GAME” tab and configure the limiter.
Menu | Value | Explanation |
---|---|---|
LIMITER | Off, On | Switches the limiter on/off. |
LEVEL | 0–25 | Sets the volume limiting effect. Larger values limit the volume more. |
RELEASE | 10–5000ms | Sets how long it takes for the limiter effect to be canceled.
