Playing back songs from a USB flash drive
You can play back the songs on the piano that you’ve saved on a USB flash drive.
File formats that can be saved/played back by the FP-40
USB flash drives up to 32 GB capacity in FAT or FAT32 format are supported.

Playing back/stopping
- Save the song file to the root directory (the topmost location in the folder hierarchy) of the USB flash drive. Songs that are saved inside a folder cannot be played back.
- If there are multiple files, the files are played back in order by filename.
- Connect a USB flash drive to the USB Memory port.
- Press the A7 key while holding down the [ò] button.
- The song plays.

Plays back the song.
A´7 (Next)
Plays back the next song.
- To stop, press the [ò] button again.
Playing back the songs on a USB flash drive in order (All Song)
- Press the G7 key while holding down the [ò] button.
- This plays back all of the songs on the USB flash drive in order by filename. Once all songs have played back, playback continues with the first song.
- To stop, press the [ò] button again.
