Recording your performance for social media

Follow the steps below if you want to record your performance and publish it to social media.

Since this method directly inputs the audio from the piano, this lets you record with stable sound quality without worrying about ambient noise.

  1. Use the included USB cable to connect your smartphone to the piano’s USB Mobile/PC port.
    1. The included USB cable cannot be used to connect to mobile devices with a Lightning connector or a Micro-USB (Micro-B) port. Have a cable ready that matches the ports.
  4. Start recording on your smartphone’s camera app.
  5. Play the piano keyboard to start your performance.
  6. The audio from the piano is recorded on the smartphone.
  7. Stop video recording on your smartphone.
  8. Play back the recorded video and audio to check whether the recording is correct, and upload it to social media.
