Changing the reference pitch (Master Tuning)

The “reference pitch” refers to the pitch of the middle A note (A4), which is set to 442.0 Hz on this instrument.

When playing in an ensemble with other instruments, you can adjust the reference pitch of this piano to harmonize naturally with the other instruments.

  1. Press one of the D2–F2 keys while holding down the [Function] button.

A notification sound is heard, and the setting changes.

Each press decreases the reference pitch by 0.1 Hz.

D´2 (440.0Hz)

Sets the reference pitch to 440.0 Hz.

E2 (+)

Each press increases the reference pitch by 0.1 Hz.

F2 (442.0Hz)

Sets the reference pitch to the default value (442.0 Hz).
