Transposing the keyboard (Transpose)

You can transpose the keyboard in semitone steps.

For instance, if you wanted to play a song in the key of C that was written in the key of E, set the keyboard transpose value to “+4”.

Example: when you play “C-E-G”, you hear “E-G´-B”

  1. Press one of the F4–G4 keys while holding down the [Function] button.
  3. A notification tone sounds and the keyboard is transposed.

    Explanation

    F4 (-)

    Each press lowers the key by a semitone.

    F´4 (0)

    Sets transpose to the default value (0).

    G4 (+)

    Each press raises the key by a semitone.

  5. No_header

    Setting range

    -6–+5 (default value: 0)

  6. To revert to the standard keyboard setting, press the F´4 key (0) while holding down the [Function] button.
  7. The keyboard returns to its original setting.
