Splitting the keyboard into two zones (Twin Piano)

You can divide the keyboard into a left and a right region, so that two people can play the same range of pitches. One person can play a passage or song as an example, and the other person can practice along with that example.

  1. Press the A´4 key while holding down the [Function] button.
  3. A notification sound is heard, and the keyboard setting changes. The left and right zones use the same tone (Concert Piano).
  4. To revert to the standard keyboard setting, press the A4 key while holding down the [Function] button.
  5. The keyboard returns to its original setting.

 

  1. If a different tone is currently selected, the tone switches to Concert Piano.
  2. The damper pedal works only for the right-side keyboard zone.
  3. When using the dedicated KPD-70 pedal board (sold separately), the left pedal (soft pedal) works as the damper pedal for the left-side zone, and the center pedal (sostenuto pedal) only works with the right-side zone.
