Connecting via Bluetooth (wireless)
How to connect (pairing)
In order to connect your mobile device to this piano via Bluetooth, you must “pair” them by registering the piano on your mobile device.
The following explanation shows the settings to make for an iOS device. If you are using an Android device, refer to your device’s owner’s manual.
MEMO
Once a device has been paired, there is no need to make these settings again.
Refer to “Connecting an already-paired mobile device”.
- Place the mobile device that you want to connect near the piano.
- Long-press the [Function] button on the piano and the [] (Piano Sphere) button at the same time.
- The Bluetooth (Ġ) indicator blinks.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile device.
- Tap “FP-40 Audio”, shown in the list of Bluetooth devices on your mobile device.
- The piano and mobile device are paired.
Connection complete
The following indications are used to show when pairing is completed.
- Mobile device: “FP-40 Audio” is added to the list of devices
- Piano: the Bluetooth (Ġ) indicator lights up
