Pairing with multiple pianos
You can pair (register) more than one piano to a single smartphone or other mobile device.
By setting a different Bluetooth ID (ID number) for each piano, you can choose the piano that you wish to connect with.
- When the Bluetooth ID is set, text such as “FP-40 Audio 1” with the ID number at the end of the device name is shown on your mobile device’s screen. No number is shown if the Bluetooth ID has not been set.
- If there are multiple pianos present, turn off the power of all other devices except for the mobile device and the pianos to be paired.
- Turn off the piano.
- Turn on the power while pressing the [ó] button, and then hold down the [ó] button for at least three seconds (until the [Piano]–[Split] buttons start blinking).
- The number of buttons that are lit from [Piano] to [Split] indicate the ID number that’s currently set.
