Starting TONE STUDIO
- Use a USB cable to connect the GX-10 to your computer, and then turn on the power of the GX-10.
MEMO
You can still edit livesets and download livesets from BOSS TONE EXCHANGE even when the GX-10 is not connected to a computer via USB cable.
However, you can’t save the resulting memories you edit. To save this data, the unit must be connected to your computer.
- From the [Start] menu, select [All Programs] Ó [BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-10].
- macOS users
- From the Finder, double-click [BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-10 (.app)] in the Applications/BOSS/GX-10 folder.
- The “Terms of Use” screen is shown.
- This screen only appears when the app launches for the first time.
- Click “ACCEPT” to agree to the contents after you’ve read them.
- Select the device to connect. Choose “GX-10” and click the [OK] button.
- TONE STUDIO starts.
MEMO
- On the second and subsequent startups, the device is selected automatically.
- It may take some time before TONE STUDIO Editor is available for use, as data needs to be loaded from the GX-10.
