CONTROL MODE

The control modes specify how the pedals work during performance.

The GX-10 features three modes as shown below.

CONTROL MODE

UP/DOWN

(up/down mode)

  • This is the factory setting.

Use this mode to switch consecutively between the memories stored in this unit.

Press switch [É] to switch to the previous memory.

Press switch [Ç] to switch to the next memory.

BANK/NUM

(bank/number mode)

Use this mode to switch between the three memories stored in this unit.

Press switch [É] to switch to memory 1 within the bank.

Press switch [Ç] to switch to memory 2 within the bank.

Press switch [C1] to switch to memory 3 within the bank.

Press switches [É] and [Ç] at the same time to switch to the previous bank.

Press switches [Ç] and [C1] at the same time to switch to the next bank.

MEMO

  • You can use the PLAY OPTION setting to set whether the memory changes instantly when you switch to a different bank, or after you actually select the memory.
  • The CURRENT NUMBER (CUR NUM) function is available only in BANK/NUM mode.

MANUAL

(manual mode)

This mode lets you use switches [É]–[C1] to operate the functions that are assigned to them by each memory or by the settings for the entire system.
