SESSION screen

  1. [SESSION] button
  2. The screen switches to the SESSION screen when you click this button while another screen is shown.
  3. Memory list
  4. Shows a list of user memories saved on the GX-1.
  5. Session list (maximum of 100 songs)
  6. Shows the songs in the session list. Click to play back a song. You can drag the songs to change their order, and press the [+] button to add a YouTube video to the list.

  7. MEMO

    Clicking the [] button in the session list opens the edit menu.

    NAME: Edits the name.

    COPY: Duplicates the song.

    DELETE: Deletes a song from the list.

  8. Playback control area
  9. Controls the playback of videos and songs.

  10. SPEED

    Adjusts the speed.

    Plays back from the beginning.

    ö

    Rewinds the song.

    Tap twice to rewind (go back) 10 seconds.

    ø

    Plays/pauses the song.

    ù

    Fast-forwards the song. Tap twice to fast-forward 10 seconds.

  11. [MARKER SET] buton

    Sets a marker at the current position of the song.

    [AB Repeat] button

    Pressing this button during playback makes the music repeat from 1 to 3. Points A and B are shown on the progress bar.

    1. Set point A: This sets point A.
    2. Set point B: This sets point B. The section from point A to point B plays back repeatedly.
    3. Clear setting: This clears the setting.

    [MEMORY SET] button

    Sets the user memory for the marker.

    When the playback position passes the marker, the memory switches to the set tone.

    [SONG] button

    Selects the playback method for the song.

    1 time: Plays back the song once and then stops.

    repeat: Plays the same song back from the beginning.

    Next: Switches to the next song in the list.

  12. Session marker list
  13. By pressing the [MARKER SET] button to set a marker for the video or song, you can jump with a single touch to the playback position or other point you want to practice.
  14. By assigning a GX-1 memory to a marker, you can automatically switch between tones as the song progresses.ØSetting the marker tone

  15. MEMO

    Clicking the [] button in the session marker list opens the edit menu.

    DETAIL: This lets you register a user memory, or edit the set time or name of a marker.

    DELETE: This deletes a marker.

  16. Import/export button ([Ò]/[Ñ] button)
  17. Imports songs from your PC/Mac (IMPORT), or saves songs to your PC/Mac one at a time (EXPORT).
