Changing the key touch (key touch)

This shows how to set the key touch, meaning how the keys feel when you play them.

  1. Press one of the F1–B³1 keys while holding down the [Ċ] button to set the key touch.

F1

Fixed:
The keyboard always plays notes at the same strength, regardless of how hard or soft you play.

F´1

Very light:
A lighter setting than “Light”.

G1

Light:
With this setting, you can achieve fortissimo (ff) levels by playing with less force than the “Standard” setting, so the keyboard action feels lighter.

G´1

Standard:
A “standard” key touch that is closest to that of an acoustic piano (default value).

A1

Heavy:
With this setting, the keys must be played with more force than the “Standard” setting to achieve fortissimo (ff) levels, so the keyboard action feels heavier.

B³1

Very heavy:
A heavier setting than “Heavy”.
