Pasting a step

This shows how to paste (overwrite) the data that’s saved in the temporary memory of the P-6 to a specified step.

MEMO

First, copy the data of the step you want to paste.

Refer to “Copying a step” for details.

  1. Press the [ó] button.
  2. Now you can edit the notes in the steps.
  3. “St.” and the step number to be edited are shown in the display.
  4. Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select the paste destination step.
  5. Press the [OCT+] button while holding down the [KYBD] button.
  6. Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select “PStE” (Paste).
  7. Press the [C´] (ENTER) button.
  8. “donE” appears, and the data of the copy source step is pasted (overwritten) into the selected step.
