SG-1

The SG-1 is an effect unit that lets you easily produce violin-like playing with faster passages, simulating advanced techniques.

Traditionally, players have had to use the volume control on their guitar or use a foot volume pedal to simulate violin-like sounds. The SG-1 makes it a breeze to enjoy a wide variety of violin-like sounds, simply by adjusting the attack time. You can also use this effect with other instruments besides electric guitars as well, by adjusting the sensitivity using the [SENS] knob, according to the input level.

Explanation

1

SENS

0–100

Adjusts the sensitivity.

When the sensitivity is set to a lower value, the effect of the slow gear can be obtained only with a stronger picking, while no effect is obtained with a weaker picking.

When the sensitivity is set higher, the effect is obtained regardless of picking strength.

ATTACK

0–100

Adjusts the time needed for the volume to reach its maximum from the moment you begin picking.
