DF-2

The DF-2 is a unique effect unit that adds a totally novel feedback feature to super distortion, for creating a wide range of sounds from soft to hard.

By picking a single note (not chords) and then holding the pedal switch, you can easily get feedback regardless of what type of guitar or amp you’re using, or your settings.

	TONE	0–100	Adjusts the tone. Turn the knob clockwise to emphasize the high frequencies for a more biting sound. Turn the knob counterclockwise to cut the high frequencies and boost the low frequencies for a softer sound.
	DIST	0–100	Adjusts the distortion depth.
2	OVERTONE	0–100	Adjusts the harmonic component of the feedback sound (the sound that’s one octave higher). Turning the knob clockwise emphasizes the sound an octave higher, and turning the knob all the way leaves only the sound an octave higher.

3	CTL1 TARGET	OFF, LEVEL, TONE, DIST, OVERTONE	Selects the parameter to control from a footswitch connected to CTL1.
	CTL1 MODE	MOMENT, TOGGLE	Selects the operation mode for the footswitch that’s connected to CTL1.
	CTL1 VALUE	0–100	Sets the value for the parameter that’s controlled from a footswitch connected to CTL1.
4	CTL2 TARGET	OFF, LEVEL, TONE, DIST, OVERTONE	Selects the parameter to control from a footswitch connected to CTL2.
	CTL2 MODE	MOMENT, TOGGLE	Selects the operation mode for the footswitch connected to CTL2.
	CTL2 VALUE	0–100	Selects the value for the parameter that’s controlled from a footswitch connected to CTL2.
5	EXP TARGET	OFF, LEVEL, TONE, DIST, OVERTONE	Sets the parameter controlled by an expression pedal connected to EXP.
	EXP MIN	0–100	Sets the minimum value for the parameter controlled by an expression pedal connected to EXP.
	EXP MAX	0–100	Sets the maximum value for the parameter controlled by an expression pedal connected to EXP.
6	PEDAL MODE	MOMENT, TOGGLE	Selects the operation mode for the pedal switch on the PX-1. When PEDAL MODE is set to “TOGGLE”, you can long-press the pedal switch to generate feedback.
	ACTION	OFF Ó ON, ON Ó OFF	Sets how the pedal switch on this unit operates when PEDAL MODE is set to “MOMENT”.
