Function | Operation | Explanation |

404 Transport / Default Mode | [EXIT] button | Controls playback/stop and related functions for the two decks (deck 1 on the left, and deck 2 on the right). |
Hot Cue Mode | [PATTERN EDIT] button | This lets you instantly play back from a set position. You can set up to eight hot cue points per song (“Hot cue operations (HOT CUE)”). |
Auto Loop Mode
| [LOOP] button | Lets you control the loop playback according to the length (beats) assigned to each pad. |
Stem Control Mode | [PATTERN SELECT] button | Lets you control four stems (vocal, melody, bass and drums) per deck. |
Roll Beat Jump Mode
| [ROLL] button | Lets you control the beat jump (shifting a specified number of beats) function. |
Serato DJ sampler | [SUB PAD] button | Lets you control the songs loaded into the sample slots of Serato Sampler. |
SP-404MK2 Sampler | [HOLD] button | Switches to SP-404MK2 sampler mode temporarily when connected to the Serato DJ. Press the pads to play the samples. |
