Overview of the V-STAGE

 

Basic controls

Contains the buttons and knobs as well as the display, which are used for basic operations. Use the display to make detailed edits to the tones, and use the buttons to directly recall the scenes.

ORGAN part

This part plays the organ sounds. This part features a virtual tonewheel sound generator that recreates the sonic principles of a vintage organ, and you can manipulate the harmonic bars on the panel to shape the sound. The organ part features its own rotary, overdrive and vibrato/chorus effects.

ACOUSTIC PIANO part (A.PIANO)

This part plays the acoustic piano sounds. This part features a dedicated modeling engine that recreates the characteristics unique to pianos. You can also access the PIANO DESIGNER screen with a touch, which lets you create more detailed sounds.

ELECTRIC PIANO part (E.PIANO)

This part plays the electric piano sounds. This part features three of its own effects including MFX, tremolo and an amp simulator. The part MFX also uses dedicated effect types that are optimal for playing electric piano sounds.

SYNTHESIZER part (SYNTH A/B)

This part plays the synthesizer sounds.

The SYNTH part features two independent parts (A and B), which you can layer on top of each other or split into two different left- and right-hand sounds. When operating the parts from the panel, use the button to select which part you want to control. An MFX is also available as an effect for this part.

TOTAL EFFECTS

Apart from the dedicated effects for each part, you can apply the total effects to a single part or to all parts. Three total effects are available, including an MFX, delay and reverb.

You can set whether the total effects are used by just one part or by all parts, and switch between settings.

MASTER/MIC IN

The MASTER section is used to configure the EQ and compressor, which are applied to the final output.

The MIC IN section includes settings for mic input.

General purpose controllers

You can assign various functions to the wheels, buttons and pedals. This lets you use these controllers during live performance to control the functions.
