Format

Here’s how to initialize a USB flash drive.

NOTE

  1. Be sure to initialize the USB flash drive on this instrument with this function before you use it.
  2. Formatting a USB flash drive erases all data on the media.
  3. Use a commercially available USB flash drive. Note that not all commercially available USB flash drives are guaranteed to work.

 

  1. Press the [MENU] button and select Memory Ó Format.
  2. A confirmation message appears.
  4. Turn the [SELECT] knob to select “OK”.
  5. Press the [SELECT] knob.
  6. Formatting is executed.
