Raising/lowering the key range in semitones (transpose)

You can transpose the entire keyboard in semitone steps.

  1. While holding down the [TRANSPOSE] button, press a key to set the transposition.
    1. The range that can be set using the keyboard is between C#3 (-11) to C4 (0), and up to B4 (+11).
    2. The TRANSPOSE screen appears while the [TRANSPOSE] button is pressed.
    3. Instead of using the keyboard, you can also hold down the [TRANSPOSE] button and turn the [SELECT] knob to set the transposition.
  5. Take your finger off the [TRANSPOSE] button.
  6. When the transpose value is set to anything besides “0”, the [TRANSPOSE] button lights up.
  7. Pressing the [TRANSPOSE] button again makes the button go dark and returns to the original sound range.
