Instruments

The snare drum, kick drum and other instrument sounds are referred to as “instruments”.

You can allocate different instruments to the head, rim and other parts of each pad. Up to three instruments (layers A–C) can be layered and played at the same time for each pad.

Create the sound you like by modifying the settings of each instrument. With the instruments, you can recreate the changes in sound from different depths of drum shells, add transient effects and change the sound in other ways.

In addition to the presets (built-in sounds), the following instruments can be played.

• Instrument Expansions and Kit Pack instruments that are loaded into the V51 slots.

• Audio files created on a computer or other device (user sample function)
• Ø “Importing and playing audio files (USER SAMPLE)”
