Adjusting the tonal character of the drum kit (KIT EQ)

Here are the steps for setting the tonal character (kit equalizer) for the entire drum kit, on a kit-by-kit basis.

ØFor details on the parameters that can be edited, refer to “Data List” (Roland website).

  1. Press the [KIT EDIT] button.
  2. Use the cursor buttons to select “KIT EQ”, and press the [ENTER] button.
  3. The KIT EQ screen appears.
  5. Press the [F1] (KitEQ) button to switch the kit equalizer on/off.
  6. Edit the kit equalizer settings.

    Press the [F6] (RESET EQ) button to restore the equalizer settings to their default values.

  8. Press the [KIT] button to return to the KIT screen.
