Adjusting the changes in volume of the drum kit (KIT COMP)

Here’s how to set the volume changes (kit compressor) for the entire drum kit, on a kit-by-kit basis.

ØFor details on the parameters that can be edited, refer to “Data List” (Roland website).

  1. Press the [KIT EDIT] button.
  2. Use the cursor buttons to select “KIT COMP”, and press the [ENTER] button.
  3. The KIT COMP screen appears.
  5. Press the [F1] (KitComp) button to switch the kit compressor on/off.
  6. Edit the kit compressor settings.
  7. Press the [KIT] button to return to the KIT screen.
