Layering the instruments (layer)

You can layer up to three instruments (layers A–C) per pad (each trigger such as the head, rim and so forth).

  1. Press the [INSTRUMENT] button.
  2. Press the [F1] (INST) button.
  3. The INSTRUMENT screen appears.
  4. Select the pad to configure.

  6. Press the cursor buttons to move the cursor to the instruments for layers A–C.
  8. Use the [-] [+] buttons or the dial to select an instrument.
  9. Move the cursor to the layer switch and use the [-] [+] buttons or the dial to toggle the switches on/off.

MEMO

On each INSTRUMENT screen, press one of the [F1] (A)–[F3] (C) buttons while holding down the [SHIFT] button to turn each layer on/off.
