Making overall settings for the V71 (SETUP)

The settings that are common to the entire V71, such as specifying the output destination of the V71 and configuring the footswitch assignments, are called the “setup”.

  1. Press the [SETUP] button.
  2. The SETUP screen appears.
  4. Use the cursor buttons or the dial to select the menu that you want to edit, and press the [ENTER] button.

    Explanation

    Wi-Fi

    Lets you connect the V71 to the Roland Cloud Connect app via Wi-Fi.

    OUTPUT

    Specifies the output destination of the sounds.

    USB AUDIO

    Makes the USB audio settings.

    SYSTEM INFO

    Used for checking how much memory is free on this unit, as well as the system program version.

    SYSTEM MIDI

    Configures the overall MIDI-related settings for the V71.

    CONTROL SETUP

    Assigns functions to the footswitches and pads.

    OPTION

    Configures the preview button, audio input, display, Auto Off and so on.

    FACTORY RESET

    Restores the factory settings.

  6. Edit the settings according to the selected menu.
