Wired LAN connection

Connect the computer to your video switcher using an Ethernet adaptor and LAN cable.

  1. Connect the DIRECT STREAM port or the LAN CONTROL connector of the video switcher to your computer with an Ethernet adaptor and LAN cable.

  3. Turn on the video switcher.
  4. Press the [MENU] button Ó “Network” Ó “LAN Setup” Ó set “Configure” to “Manual”, and press the [VALUE] knob.
  5. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “Network Password”, and press the [VALUE] knob.
  6. The Network Password screen appears.
  7. Set a network password.
  8. The password you set here is required when accessing the video switcher from VenuSet.
  9. Use the [VALUE] knob to select “Network Information”, and press the [VALUE] knob.
  10. The Network Information screen appears.
  11. When “Connected” is shown in “Link Status”, you’re finished with the video switcher connection settings.
  12. Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.

  1. Click the [(Start)] button and then “Settings” (gear icon).
  2. Click “Network & internet”.
  3. Click “Ethernet”.
  4. Click [Edit] in “IP assignment”.
  5. In “Edit IP settings”, select “Manual” and turn on IPv4.
  6. Set the IP address and subnet mask values, and click the [Save] button.

  1. Click the [(Start)] button and then “Settings” (gear icon).
  2. Click “Network & internet”.
  3. Click “Change adapter options”.
  4. Right-click the network connection you want to use, and click “Properties”.
  5. Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”, and click the [Properties] button.
  6. Select “Use the following IP address”, set the IP address and subnet mask values, and click the [OK] button.

  1. From the Apple menu, click “System Settings”.
  2. Select “Network”, and from the list on the right-hand side, select the network connection service you are using.
  3. Click “Details...”.
  4. Select “TCP/IP”, and configure the parameters shown below.

  6. Click the [OK] button.

 

Configuring VenuSet

  1. Launch VenuSet.
  2. Click the [status icon].
  3. * If the app is already connected to a different device or using a different connection method, the status icon may show “Online”.
  4. Click the [LAN] button.
  5. Input the “IP Address” and “Network Password” fields, and click the [Connect] button.

    IP Address

    Input the IP address of the video switcher.

    You can check this information by pressing the video switcher’s [MENU] button and selecting “Network” Ó “Network Information”.

    Network Password

    Input the network password set on the video switcher.

  7. When the status icon changes to “Online (LAN)”, the connection is established.
