Connecting via RS-232

Connect the computer directly to your video switcher using an RS-232 cable.

  1. Use an RS-232 cable to connect the RS-232 port of the video switcher to your computer.

  4. Turn on the video switcher.

 

  1. Launch VenuSet.
  2. Click the [status icon].
  4. Click [RS-232].
  6. Select “Port” and click [Connect].

    Port

    Select the port to which the video switcher is connected from the pulldown list.

  9. When the status icon changes to “Online (RS-232)”, the device is connected.
