Using Bluetooth® to connect

Use Bluetooth to wirelessly connect the video switcher to your iPad.

 

  1. Press the [MENU] button Ó “System” Ó “Bluetooth” Ó select “Bluetooth” and set it to “ON”.
  2. This switches Bluetooth on for the video switcher.
  3. Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.

 

  1. Turn Bluetooth on in the Settings menu.
  2. NOTE

    If you see the video switcher you want to connect (for example, Roland V-80HD) in the devices list, do not tap it.

  3. Launch VenuSet.
  4. Tap the [status icon].
  5. * If the app is already connected to a different device or using a different connection method, the status icon may show “Online”.
  6. Press the [Bluetooth] button.
  7. Tap the [Bluetooth MIDI Device] button, and tap the device to which you want to connect (for example. “Roland V-80HD”) in the list.
  8. When “Connected” is shown next to the device name (for example, “Roland V-80HD”), pairing is completed. The steps hereafter are unnecessary.
  9. If a “Bluetooth Pairing Request” dialog box appears, tap “Pair”.
  10. Tap the button indicated by the box above in step 3, and tap the device to which you want to connect (for example. “Roland V-80HD (Bluetooth)”) in the list.
  11. * Although you may configure the app to pair with more than one device, the app can only connect with one device at a time.
  12. Tap the [Connect] button.
  13. When the status icon changes to “Online (Bluetooth)”, the connection is established.
