Using Bluetooth® to connect
Use Bluetooth to wirelessly connect the video switcher to your iPad.
- The communication speed or connectivity may become unstable when the devices are placed near another device that emits radio waves, such as a wireless LAN-compatible device.
- Press the [MENU] button Ó “System” Ó “Bluetooth” Ó select “Bluetooth” and set it to “ON”.
- This switches Bluetooth on for the video switcher.
- Press the [MENU] button to close the menu.
- Turn Bluetooth on in the Settings menu.
NOTE
If you see the video switcher you want to connect (for example, Roland V-80HD) in the devices list, do not tap it.
- Launch VenuSet.
- Tap the [status icon].
- * If the app is already connected to a different device or using a different connection method, the status icon may show “Online”.
- Press the [Bluetooth] button.
- Tap the [Bluetooth MIDI Device] button, and tap the device to which you want to connect (for example. “Roland V-80HD”) in the list.
- When “Connected” is shown next to the device name (for example, “Roland V-80HD”), pairing is completed. The steps hereafter are unnecessary.
- If a “Bluetooth Pairing Request” dialog box appears, tap “Pair”.
- Tap the button indicated by the box above in step 3, and tap the device to which you want to connect (for example. “Roland V-80HD (Bluetooth)”) in the list.
- * Although you may configure the app to pair with more than one device, the app can only connect with one device at a time.
- Tap the [Connect] button.
- When the status icon changes to “Online (Bluetooth)”, the connection is established.
