Audio faders

Use the audio faders to adjust the audio input/output level or to mute the audio. The indicator shown at the top is the SIG/PEAK indicator. This lights up according to the audio level of the assigned channel.

For more on the audio fader settings, refer to “Adding an audio fader”.

  • The audio fader to which an audio output is assigned is shown with a white border.

Tap the icon that appears below the audio fader to mute or unmute the audio.

Tabs

This part of the user interface is used for storing the settings of multiple buttons or multiple audio faders as a group.

You can select the positions of the buttons and faders in the tabs from the predefined layouts.

Window

This part of the user interface determines the shape of the operating panel, in which the buttons, audio faders and so forth are placed.

You can choose to have either one or two windows.

A single window can contain up to five tabs.

Refer to “2. Editing the tabs” for details.

Lock symbol

This symbol appears when an audio fader’s functionality is restricted.

You can lock the volume controls or the mute icon depending on your use case, and the symbol appears when the controls are locked.

Refer to “3-2. Editing the layout of the audio faders” for details.

Preview button

Assigns the video switcher function for use. You can display a video or still image received from the video switcher as the preview.

  • For more information about the functions assigned to the preview button and how to set the preview display, refer to “Adding a preview button”.

Button

Assigns the video switcher function for use. This lets you toggle the video switcher video and enable or disable certain functions.

Refer to “Adding a button” for the functions that can be assigned to the buttons.

Warning icon

This icon appears above the buttons or audio faders.

Appears when VenuSet is connected to a device that does not have the function that’s assigned to that button (for example, when a function is assigned to use the SDI input, but the device is a VR-6HD that does not have an SDI connector)

MEMO

The assigned functions are shown for each button and audio fader.
