About the closed pedal sounds

One pad per kit can be set to play when you operate the closed pedal. If there are multiple candidates, the following rules apply.

Priority

Enabled triggers (pads)

1 (highest priority)

External trigger whose Trig Type is set to VH-10 or VH-11

  • You can set the Trig Type from the MENU Ó SYSTEM Ó PAD/TRIG IN screen.

Paired DWe hi-hat

Pad connected to the PAD1 jack of a paired WT-10 (when the Hi-Hat parameter of “INPUT CONFIGURATION” is “ON”)

Pads for which the Layer Type parameter is set to “HI-HAT”

  • The closed pedal sound is enabled according to the priority shown below.
