Receiving bulk data saved on your computer (MIDI BULK LOAD)

By transmitting the bulk data from your DAW or MIDI sequencer that you backed up using MIDI BULK DUMP and receiving the data on the EX-4, you can restore the system, GEAR SUITE and user memory settings.

  1. Transmit the bulk data from your DAW or MIDI sequencer.
  2. See the owner’s manual of your DAW or MIDI sequencer for the operations required on your DAW or MIDI sequencer.

“DATA RECEIVING...” is shown on the display while data is being received.

Never turn off the power while data is being received.

If “MIDI BUFFER FULL” is shown, check the connection and try slowing down the tempo of the MIDI device (the DAW or MIDI sequencer) that’s transmitting the data.
