Playing/recording a song after the count is played (count-in)
The “count-in” is a lead-in that plays before the song is recorded or played.
This helps you adjust and match your playing to the timing of the song when you play or record.
Sounding a count-in before the song plays
- Press the [ò] button while holding down the [Ċ] button.
- The song plays after the count-in is heard.
Sounding a count-in before recording starts
- Start the metronome beforehand and set the time signature and tempo (“Using the metronome”).
- Press the [ó] button.
- Press the [ò] button.
- Recording starts after the count-in plays.
MEMO
If you play the keyboard instead of pressing the [ò] button, recording starts immediately without the count-in.
Changing the number of measures in the count-in
The number of count-in measures is set to “1” with the factory settings, but you can change this to “2”.
- Press the C6 or the C´6 key while holding down the [ò] button.
