Shortcuts that use the step buttons
While holding down a step button | Explanation | Reference |

Sample pads [1]–[6] (*1) | Sets the velocity for the step and note of the sample pad you pressed. Pressing the button toggles between the StrG (strong), ÷Edi (medium) and ľEAK (weak) settings. The actual velocities are 100%, 75% and 50% of the Key Velocity parameter value respectively. |

[KYBD] button (*1) | Inputs a tie. | |
Turn the [PITCH] knob | Records the knob values into the step (the motion function). | |
