Playing a break in the performance (MUTE BUS)

When MUTE BUS is on, the input to BUS 1 and BUS 2 is muted (shut off). For instance, if reverb or delay was turned on for that bus, only the reverberations or delay sound are heard.

If you turn off MUTE BUS after this, the mute is turned off and you can hear the input to the buses, and the bus effect is turned off at the same time.

This lets you create expressive breaks and add dynamic development to your performance.

  1. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [BUS FX] button.
  2. MUTE BUS turns on. This shuts off the audio signal sent to the bus.
  3. To turn MUTE BUS off, hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [BUS FX] button again.
  4. MUTE BUS turns off. This allows the audio signal to be sent to the bus. At the same time, the effects assigned to the bus turn off.

MEMO

  1. You can set whether to apply the MUTE BUS effect to both BUS 1 and BUS 2 or only to the bus selected by the [BUS FX] button, by setting “MUTE BUS” in the “EFX SET” parameters.
