Selecting the instruments

  1. Press the [INSTRUMENT] button.
  2. Press the [F1] (INST) button.
  3. The INSTRUMENT screen appears.
  5. Select the pad to configure.

  7. Press the cursor buttons to move the cursor to the instrument.
  9. Use the [-] [+] buttons or the dial to select an instrument.
  10. * If the layer switch for the instrument you want to play is off, turn the layer switch on.

  11. MEMO

    1. You can also press the [ENTER] button to select an instrument from the list.
    2. You can layer two instruments together, or switch between them according to how hard you play.

    4. For the instruments that can be selected, refer to “Data List” (Roland website).
  12. Press the [KIT] button to return to the KIT screen.
