Updating

  1. Start up the V71.
  2. A pop-up message notifies you on startup if a new update is available, when the unit is connected to Wi-Fi.

  4. MEMO

    1. Press the [F1] button and select “Don’t show pop-up again” if you wish to suppress the notification from the next time you start up the unit.
    2. To set the unit to notify you, execute the “Configuring the unit to notify you when an update has been released” operation.
  5. If you want to view the update contents, use the cursor buttons to select “OK”, and press the [ENTER] button.
  6. The new version number is shown.
  8. To view the update contents, scan the 2D code shown on the screen and check the linked information.
  9. If you decide to cancel, press the [F1] (EXIT) button.
  10. Press the [F6] (EXECUTE) button.
  11. A confirmation message appears.
  12. If you decide to cancel, select “CANCEL” and press the [ENTER] button.
  13. * Select “OK” to start downloading the new program. It may take 15 minutes or more for the download and update process to finish.
  15. Select “OK” and press the [ENTER] button.
  16. The update starts to download.
  18. The screen changes to the one shown below when the download is completed.
  20. Press the [SONG] button.
  21. The update begins.
  22. Wait until the update is finished.
