    Explanation

    [TONE SELECT] knob

    The indicators above the knob light up according to the tone category that’s selected.

    STRINGS: stringed instruments

    PAD: synth pads

    LEAD: synth leads

    BASS: bass instruments

    KEY: keyboard instruments

    Other: other tones

    When you press the [TONE SELECT] knob:

    Explanation

    [ATTACK] knob

    Turn the knob clockwise to make the attack (the beginning) portion of the sound longer.

    [RELEASE] knob

    Turn the knob clockwise to make the release (the part of the sound that fades out) longer.

  5. FILTER
  6. Name

    Explanation

    [CUTOFF] knob

    Sets the cutoff frequency of the filter. This gives the sound a more mellow feel, by removing frequency components that are higher than the cutoff frequency.

    Explanation

    [CTRL 1] knob

    The effects of the knobs change according to the type you select.

    [CTRL 2] knob

    [ON/OFF] button

    When you press this button to make it light up, the MFX is applied.

Explanation

[LEVEL] knob

Adjusts the part volume.

When turned while you hold down the [SHIFT] button:

Adjusts the part pan.

[ON/OFF] button

When you press this button to make it light up, the part turns on.

When you press this while holding down the [SHIFT] button:

Configures the MIDI output settings for the parts.

SPLIT [LEFT]/[RIGHT] buttons

Splits this part for performance. ØDividing the keyboard into two regions (split)

OCTAVE [DOWN] / [UP] buttons

Changes the key range for the part. ØRaising/lowering a part’s key range in octaves

PART [SELECT] button

Switches between SYNTH A and B parts.

The indicator of the part you selected lights up.

When you press this while holding down the [SHIFT] button:

Turns dual mode on/off.

 

What is dual mode?

In dual mode, the knobs for the SYNTH part work in tandem for SYNTH A and B. You can control the A/B parts at once when playing in dual mode.

When this is on, both the A and B indicators light up.
