Recording with AUDIO REC

  1. Select a song recorded as audio data.
  2. Ø “Playing along with the songs on the V51”
  3. * The word “(AUDIO)” is added to the end of the song name for the built-in song (INTERNAL) audio data.
  4. Press the [ó] button.
  5. The REC screen appears, and the unit enters record-standby mode.
  6. Select “AUDIO REC” for the recording type.
  7. Ø “Recording audio (AUDIO REC)”
  8. Set Rec Target to “ALL”.
  9. Use the cursor buttons or the dial to select the “Play and record a song” check box.
  10. Press the [ò] button to start recording.
  11. The song starts playing at the same time that recording begins.
  12. Press the [ò] button to stop recording.
  13. Play back your recorded performance.
  14. * When you’ve recorded along with a song with the click track and then play back what you’ve recorded, the click track does not play back.
  15. Press the [ò] button to end playback.
  16. Save the song to the SD card as necessary.
