1. Use a USB cable to connect the GX-100 to your computer, and then turn on the power of the GX-100.

    You can edit livesets and download livesets from BOSS TONE CENTRAL even if the GX-100 is not connected to your computer via a USB cable.

    However, you can’t save the results of memories you edit. To save this data, the unit must be connected to your computer.

  2. In the [Start] menu, choose [All Programs] Ó [BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-100] Ó [BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-100].
    The first time you start up, the dialog box “Choose a device connect with.” appears.

    On the second and subsequent startups, the device is selected automatically.

    macOS users
    From the Finder, in the application/BOSS/GX-100 folder, double-click [BOSS TONE STUDIO for GX-100 (.app)].

  3. Choose “GX-100”, and click the [OK] button.


    TONE STUDIO starts.

    It may take some time until you can use TONE STUDIO, as data needs to be loaded from the GX-100.

    TONE STUDIO can’t be used in conjunction with the GX-100 IR Loader software. Quit the software before you launch TONE STUDIO.
