    Explanation

    [TONE SELECT] knob

    The indicators above the knob light up according to the tone category that’s selected.

    GRAND: Grand piano

    UPRIGHT: Upright piano

    When you press the [TONE SELECT] knob:

    The TONE LIST screen is shown.

    [PIANO DESIGNER] button

    The PIANO DESIGNER screen is shown. You can make more detailed changes to the sound here.

    This is the same screen as the A.Piano menu.

    [BRIGHTNESS] knob

    The sound gets darker when the knob is turned counterclockwise, and brighter when the knob is turned clockwise.

    [STEREO WIDTH] knob

    Turn the knob clockwise to make the sound more spacious.

Explanation

[LEVEL] knob

Adjusts the part volume.

When turned while you hold down the [SHIFT] button:

Adjusts the part pan.

[ON/OFF] button

When you press this button to make it light up, the part turns on.

When you press this while holding down the [SHIFT] button:

Configures the MIDI output settings for the parts.

SPLIT [LEFT]/[RIGHT] buttons

Splits this part for performance. ØDividing the keyboard into two regions (split)

OCTAVE [DOWN] / [UP] buttons

Changes the key range for the part. ØRaising/lowering a part’s key range in octaves

KEY TOUCH [SELECT] button

Changes the playing feel (touch) of the keyboard. The indicators to the left of the button light up according to the type that’s selected.

H: Heavier key touch

M: Standard key touch

L: Lighter key touch

  • This changes the key touch that’s configured in the system parameters.
