Recording with DRUM REC

  1. Select a song recorded as audio data.
  2. Ø “Playing along with the songs on the V51”
  3. * The word “(AUDIO)” is added to the end of the song name for the built-in song (INTERNAL) audio data.
  4. Press the [ó] button.
  5. The REC screen appears, and the unit enters record-standby mode.
  6. Select “DRUM REC” for the recording type.
  7. Ø “Recording as SMF (DRUM REC)”
  8. Use the cursor buttons or the dial to select the “Play a song while recording” check box.
  9. Press the [ò] button to start recording.
  10. The song starts playing at the same time that recording begins.
  11. Press the [ò] button to stop recording.
  12. Play back your recorded performance.
  13. * When you’ve recorded along with a song with the click track and then play back what you’ve recorded, the click track does not play back.
  14. Press the [ò] button to end playback.
  15. Export the song as necessary.
