Checking the version of the SPD-SX PRO

To use the SPD-SX PRO APP, you must make sure that you’re using the latest system version on the SPD-SX PRO.
Download the latest software from the website below, and follow the steps listed to update.

Installing Roland Cloud Manager

Use Roland Cloud Manager to install the SPD-SX PRO APP.
Follow the steps below to install Roland Cloud Manager on your computer.


  1. On your computer, download Roland Cloud Manager from the Roland Cloud website.

    Access the website shown below to download the installer appropriate for your computer.

  2. Double-click the installer you downloaded.

    Proceed with the installation as directed by the installation screens.
    When you see the message “Installation has been completed ”, click the [Close] button.


  3. Launch the Roland Cloud Manager that you installed, and register your account.

    Follow the onscreen instructions to register.


Installing SPD-SX PRO APP
  1. Launch Roland Cloud Manager.

  2. Click “Library” on the menu tab.

    The contents list appears.


  3. Search for “SPD-SX PRO APP” in the search box at the top of the page.


  4. Click “SPD-SX PRO APP”.

    The SPD-SX PRO APP page appears.


  5. Click “Install”.
