You can use the limiter to keep the volume down, which helps prevent damage to your ears from sudden loud sounds.

For example, you can prevent gunshots from being louder than necessary in a first-person shooter game.

  1. On the menu screen, click the “GAME” tab to configure the limiter.

    Menu Value Explanation
    LIMITER Off, On

    Switches the limiter on/off.

LEVEL 0–25 Sets the volume limiting effect. Larger values limit the volume more.
    RELEASE 10–5000 ms

Sets how long it takes for the limiter effect to be canceled.

    • Times are approximate. This also changes depending on the volume.

You can save up to five game settings (virtual surround, equalizer, limiter) as presets, and recall them whenever you like.
