When you connect the GO:PODCAST to a computer via USB cable, you can use the GO:PODCAST as a USB mic.

This lets you use the mic audio recorded by the GO:PODCAST during a Web conference, or listen to the audio from your computer through the PHONES jack on the GO:PODCAST.

Do not use a USB cable that is designed only for charging a device. Charge-only cables cannot transmit data.
Turning the power on

  1. After booting up your computer, use the included USB cable (USB Type-C® to USB Type-C®, or USB Type-C® to USB A) to connect the USB port of the GO:PODCAST to the computer.



Turning the power off

Before turning the unit on/off, always be sure to turn the volume down. Even with the volume turned down, you might hear some sound when switching the unit on/off. However, this is normal and does not indicate a malfunction.

  1. Unplug the USB cable from the USB port on the GO:PODCAST.

Connect the GO:PODCAST to your computer directly via USB cable.

The USB mic may not work correctly if you connect via a USB hub or similar device.
