• During livestreaming, you can view the comments of people who are viewing the contents by checking the Comment window in the AeroCaster LIVE app, and you can post your comments as the person streaming the content.


Getting ready
  • Make sure that your iPad is connected to the Internet for livestreaming.
  • When recording: before beginning the livestream, set “Enable Record” from  (Output) Ó “Recording” tab. You can make the recording start automatically at the same time that the livestream begins.
    If the livestream destination platform hasn’t been set ( (Output) Ó “Live” tab Ó nothing selected in the platform list), tap the  (Streaming) button or the [ON AIR] button on the VRC-01 for video recording only.



Using an existing Twitch account

If you don’t have an account yet, follow the steps in “Creating a new Twitch account” to create an account.


  1. Tap (Output) and select “Twitch” from the platform list.

  2. Tap “Login”.

  3. Log in to your Twitch account.

  4. Tap the [Authorize] button in the access confirmation message for the account.

  5. Tap each menu item to edit the settings, and tap “Select as a destination”.


    Item Explanation
    Ingest server

    To stream your content in a more stable network environment, select a server in a region that’s close to you. 

    • You can still livestream, regardless of which server you choose.
    Bitrate

    Sets the bit rate (how much data is transmitted per second) of the video.

    Higher bit rates offer better livestream video quality.

    However, raising the bit rate too much uses significantly more data, which may cause the livestream to become choppy or cause problems with image quality.

    • See the official Twitch website for the recommended bit rate to use when livestreaming via Twitch.
    Resolution

    Sets the resolution of the livestreamed video.

    1080p: 1920 x 1080 (full HD)

    720p: 1280 x 720 (HD)

  6. Tap “< Output” and make sure that the “Twitch” check box is selected.


  7. Tap anywhere outside of the Output menu, or swipe down on the Output menu to close.

    Now you’ve finished configuring the livestream settings.

  8. Tap the (livestreaming) button or press the [ON AIR] button on the VRC-01.


    The livestream begins, and the preview link is shown. You can tap the link area to copy the URL.

    • Tap anywhere outside of the popover to close the preview link. Tap the  (information icon) to the right of the bit rate to show the livestreaming preview link again.

    When “Enable Record” is on, recording begins automatically as the livestream starts.

  9. To stop the livestream, tap the (livestreaming) button or press the [ON AIR] button on the VRC-01.

  10. Tap “Stop” in the confirmation dialog box.

    The livestream ends.



Creating a new Twitch account

  1. Tap (Output) and select “Twitch” from the platform list.

  2. Tap “Login”.

  3. Tap “Sign Up”.

  4. Input the necessary information and tap “Sign Up”.

    • You might have received a Twitch account authentication code at your registered e-mail address or phone number, but that’s not used here.

  5. Tap the [Authorize] button in the access confirmation message for the account.

    This creates your account, and your login is completed.

  6. Operate from step 5 in “Using an existing Twitch account”.
