Backup
- Connect your computer to the S-1’s USB port via USB cable.
While holding down the [ø] (PLAY) button, turn on the power.
The drive on this unit takes 1–2 minutes to get ready. The keyboard pads light up to show the progress.
Open the “S-1” drive on your computer.
The backup files are located in the “BACKUP” folder on the “S-1” drive.
Copy the backup files to the computer.
Copy all of the files in the “BACKUP” folder.
Once copying is finished, eject the USB drive from your computer.
Windows
Right-click on the “S-1” icon and click “Eject”.
MacOS
Drag the “S-1” icon to the Trash icon in the Dock.
Turn the S-1 off.
Restoring
Execute steps 1–3 in “Backup”, and then open the “S-1” drive on your computer.
The drive on this unit takes 1–2 minutes to get ready.
The keyboard pads light up to show the progress.- Copy the backup files to the “RESTORE” folder on the “S-1” drive.
- Once copying is finished, eject the USB drive from your computer.
Press the [HOLD] button.
This restores the data.
Once you see the message “dOnE”, turn off the S-1.
