This shows how to set the probability for the notes in the entire pattern to play (the master probability).
The master probability value is added or subtracted from the probabilities that each step plays. Because of this, you can use the master probability to lower the chance that the step sounds even more, for steps on which you’ve already individually lowered the probability.
You can control the improvisatory nature of the sound by adding or subtracting notes from the pattern that’s playing.
- To do this, you must set the probability for each step.
- Master probability works on steps for which the probability is set to 99 or lower. (Steps always sound if their probability is 100.)
- Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press pad [15] (MENU).
Use the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to select “N.Prb”, and press pad [2] (ENTER).
Turn the [TEMPO/VALUE] knob to edit the value.
