This section controls the filter to alter the sound of the tone.

Controller (Parameter) Value Explanation

[HPF] slider

0–3 Specifies the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter.
[CUTOFF FREQ] slider 0–10 Sets the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter. This gives the sound a more mellow feel, by removing frequency components that are higher than the cutoff frequency.
[RES] slider 0–10

Increasing the value emphasizes the frequencies around the cutoff frequency for a more unusual sound.

Excessively high settings can produce oscillation, causing the sound to distort.

[LFO] slider 0–10

Sets how much LFO modulation is applied to the cutoff frequency.

[KEY FOLLOW] slider 0–10

Changes the cutoff frequency according to the keys you play.

With a larger value, playing notes above C4 (middle C) on the keyboard increases the cutoff frequency the higher you go.

[ENV] knob 0–10 Sets how much effect that the envelope you selected using the [MODE] switch has on the cutoff frequency.
[MODE] switch

1 (NORMAL),

1 (INVERSE),

2 (NORMAL),

2 (INVERSE)

Selects the envelope and polarity that controls the VCF.
